I have had a missionary filled weekend. Yesterday, I went to a baptism and was able to see a young man be baptised into our church. He read the gospel principles book in two days a couple weeks back and from that knew this church was Christ's true church. He started learning the discussions with his mom. He plans to baptise his mom within a few weeks. How neat it is to hear his testimony. He spoke in fast and testimony meeting today right after he was confirmed. It is so neat to hear and see new converts powers. It reminds me of what I have and what I need to be giving. Our ward did a missionary Fast today. They are going to have us make lists on cards. i read a lot of Aubry's blogs this morning and of her experiences on her mission. I LOVE MY SISTER!!! I am so glad she is serving the people in Rome, Italy. I am so glad of her love for her Savior Jesus Christ. I am so glad of her example to me. I love this church and all you who read this blog. So while building it I accidentally twisted one of the screws too hard and no matter what I did this side of the shelf wasn't really sticking together. So.......I shoved a nail through it :) As you can see the nail than decided to stick out the other side.
:( but i had noticed too late.....oh well at least it sticks now perfectly. So....another question I have is with my last post. How do I change the photo so it goes vertical. Thank you to all my viewers.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day assembling a shelf I bought at
Wal-Mart. I felt pretty proud because it's the first time I did something like this all by myself :). I recently had built a desk with someone Else's assistance which helped me this time to figure it out and put it together. yeah! and now I feel ohhh so much more organized.

Oct. 26'2008

My heart is filled with gratitude today. It has been a very nice Sabbath day visiting with my parents, Becky, and Leon. Today my father was released from being Bishop over the Riverbank ward. My parents will now join the 7th ward next week as that is their real church boundaries; they just didn't go before when the ward split due to my father being the bishop. I love my family very much and am grateful for these memories I have had with them today!! I love my sister Aubry and think about her quite often and how she is doing in the mission field.
